For the convenience of our guests coming from afar, the airport we recommend is Yüksekova airport.
If we have guests coming by bus, we have the opportunity to meet them from the bus station.
-Alternative airports: Van Ferit Melen Airport (Transfer to Yüksekova by Havaş, 2.5 hours)
-Şırnak Şerafettin Elçi Airport (Since there will be no direct flight, guests will need to arrive a day in advance or find a transfer from Şırnak to Yüksekova if they will land early)
We will spend the day in Yüksekova, devoting time to meeting and resting.
Hotel accommodation.
After hotel breakfast, we will transfer to Dağlıca early in the morning (usually at 8 o'clock) and then take a vehicle to Sat Lakes. Accompanied by our guides, you will take a daily nature walk suitable for all levels in the magnificent nature of Sat lakes. - Transfer by vehicle (it will take 2 hours - one way, excluding breaks and stops to take photos on the way) - Breakfast will be open buffet at the hotel, and since we will be in the field at lunch time, pre-prepared lunch packs will be distributed to the team by our chefs. Please review Lunch Packs details at the bottom of the page. Returning to our hotel in Yüksekova to have dinner and spend the night.
After breakfast (usually at 7:30) transfer to Urshe-Orshe Valley by vehicle. You will reach Terazin Lake with a nature walk of approximately 4 hours, among the ruins of the abandoned Orşe village. After the unique beauties of Momin, Garvan and Terazin lakes in this region are photographed, lunch packages and drinks will be distributed to our guests. After an average of 3 hours of walking, we will return to the point where we left our vehicles and transfer to Yüksekova. Hotel accommodation.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Serpel Plateau by vehicle (approximately 1:30 hours - excluding stopovers). You can reach Horgedim plateau (2838 meters) from Serpel plateau (2142 meters) with an easy walk of approximately 2.5 / 3 hours. We will set up our camp on the Horgedim plateau and spend the night in tents. - Breakfast will be served as an open buffet at our hotel. Lunch will be distributed to everyone before the climb in the form of lunch packages. Dinner and hot drinks will be served by our cooks at the campsite.
Although it may vary depending on snow conditions and season, in general (June 20 - end of September) we will leave the camp around 03:00 and head towards the summit. We will be at the top with a standard group walk and an average of 6 hours of walking in good weather. After the summit photos and celebration are over, we will be able to go down to the Horgedim plateau and rest after an average of 4 hours of walking. Afterwards, the mules will bring our supplies down to Serpel plateau for us. It will take approximately 2 hours for us to descend to Serpel plateau accompanied by a guide. Transfer from Serpel Plateau to Yüksekova by vehicle and hotel accommodation. -NOTE: Uludoruk/Reşko Peak is the second highest mountain in Turkey. The route is very easy and enjoyable until Horgedim Plateau. Although there is a high probability of snow at the summit until mid-June, we strongly recommend that you contact us regarding the necessary materials.
After breakfast, you will arrive at Mergan plateau with a 2-hour transfer. You will reach the famous Heaven-Hell Valley and Cilo glaciers with an average of 2 hours of walking. Our route will be very easy. On our way back, we will drive to Hakkari Seyir Hill. From here you will have the chance to watch Sümbül Mountain, Zap River and Hakkari from a very good vantage point. On our way back to Yüksekova, we will photograph Gündoğdu Cave and Genclik Bridge and spend the night at our hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Later we will transfer you to the airport for your flight back.
